Saturday was a FULL work day on the house. A friend from church came over to help Nick and the two of the them painted in the basement, we now have all the walls done and only need to do the stair way and some ceiling work and we can mark painting off the list, then on to other things :) Dad and I worked in the front yard doing the landscaping. It took all day and I think Nick and I finally called it a day at about 9:30 p.m. It needs mulch to finish it up but then it's getting a big old DONE stamp.
Paige also lost another tooth over the weekend and so is now sporting the double bottom toothless look.
We made some banana muffins this weekend too and as you can see Clara enjoyed hers.
Friday the 4th we spent celebrating Great Grandma Hauser's 94th birthday. We had the benefit of having the party here in Dubuque at Polly and Jim's so that was very nice not to have to drive. Nick's cousins from Pinevalley, MN came and brought their dog gypsy who Clara became great friends with instantly.
The girls in their new matching dresses from MiMie and Grandpa.
The Hauser ClanOverall it was a crazy busy weekend but we enjoyed all the time with family.
