Christmas Time. Oh the Chaos!!

Well I realize this is a bit late in coming since Christmas was almost two weeks ago but things here have been more than a little crazy. I normally would post pictures of the kids opening gifts but to be honest they got so much stuff that I don't think all the pictures will fit so... I'm going to post just a couple funny ones and give you a quick over view of our holiday.

The older girls both performed in the Christmas Eve Services at our church. They enjoyed that and it was extra nice that their grandparents were able to make it to watch them.

After church we came back to our house to celebrate with MaMa and PaPa, Braelyn, Aunt Brianna, Uncle Brennan and Judah. That was a great time. We enjoyed being able to have them all here and to eat together, laugh together and exchange gifts.

Christmas day brought more gifts and a visit from family. We had cousins here from Colorado and Florida as well as Aunts and Uncles from just across the river :) It was a good time and we were glad to have to opportunity to visit with family that we don't see very often. That night Nick and I flew through the house like crazy people trying to clean and find homes for things that didn't have homes because we had an interest in the house for Friday morning. Nothing has come of that by the way.

The rest of the weekend we spent time on different days with Grandpa Dale and then MiMie, Grandpa, Nessa and Gary. I think the highlight of the weekend was playing Gary's new Wii. Fun was definitely had by all as we tried to out do one another in the sports game.

This holiday time was filled with fun and family and it was very nice to have that time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and revel in the good things God has done for us in this past year. Nick was able to spend the entire week after Christmas home on vacation, we saw old friends and had the joy of just being together as a family and hanging out. We all managed to get sick in the middle of the week and are currently still battling some bug that does not want to die but in all we had a wonderful holiday and hope you all did as well. One last pic just for a giggle. :)

You mean, of course, Gary AND Vanessa's Wii. I'm the one in the pictures, after all! :o)
